Founded by sisters, Jaqi Wright and Nikki Howard created the Furlough Cheesecake” business to help pay their bills during the partial shutdown two years ago. Encouraged by their mother, with a recipe that was good enough to package and sell, the sisters did just that. With the help of social media and word-of-mouth reviews, their cheesecake business quickly took off and they began to receive hundreds of orders.
