Another Black Owned Restaurant Takes DC: Slutty Vegan Is Coming!

The season for the emergence of black owned restaurants has been plentiful. From elite dining experiences to well seasoned digs, there is no shortage of yummy places to eat.

If you've ever been to Atlanta, then you've heard of Slutty Vegan, owned and operated by Baltimore native, PinkyCole.

Currently Slutty Vegan has seven locations open on the east coast, including two in Atlanta, and one in Jonesboro, Duluth and Athens, all in Georgia. They also have a location in Birmingham, Alabama, and Brooklyn, New York, with plans to soon open new locations in Harlem, New York and Columbus, Georgia. (Source: The Vegan Herald)

The DC location, according to Ms. Cole will be in the H Street Corridor on H St. NE and 12th St. NE. “When one door closes, CLOSE on a property”, said Slutty Vegan’s founder Pinky Cole in an Instagram post. “Just purchased a property in DC between 12th and H street for the next @sluttyveganatl“.
